Our Team

AJ joined Robinsons in 1983 and took over the business with Annie in 1992, leading it for nearly three decades. As a Director, his mentoring and eye for quality continue to shape our team culture and our promise of a first-class job every time.

Annie has been Executive Director since 1992, overseeing finance, administration, payroll and HR. She holds the NZ Institute of Directors Certificate in Company Direction, and her attention to detail sets the standard for our professionalism and reliability.

Part of the third generation now leading the family business, Cole worked in the field for Robinsons as a teenager and rejoined in 2020, becoming General Manager in 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and co-founded a tourism business with his brother Sam before returning to Robinsons.

Tom joined Robinsons in 2016 as a project manager and now leads our day-to-day operations. He holds a NZ Diploma in Engineering (Civil) and still leads some of our most challenging civil and landscape projects.

Sam joined Robinsons in 2018 and leads our pricing alongside project management. Qualified in landscape design and horticulture, he brings years of experience in high-end landscape construction, from retaining walls and concrete to bespoke structures.

Part of the third generation of the family business, Sam worked for Robinsons in his teens and returned in 2020 after co-founding a tourism business with his brother Cole. A former civil machine operator, he brings a practical, hands-on approach to business development and project management on jobs of every size.

Harry joined Robinsons in 2022 as a project manager and estimator. He holds a Bachelor of Forest Engineering (Hons) and previously managed forestry and civil operations with more than 30 staff, and is known for his problem-solving and people skills.

Richie joined Robinsons in 2007 as a labourer and worked his way up to Senior Foreman. He runs our sealing crews day to day and works with our project managers to price and manage residential and commercial jobs.

Perrie joined Robinsons in May 1979, making him our longest-serving team member. As Workshop Manager he keeps our trucks, machinery and paving gear in top condition, so our crews have what they need to get the job done.

Zaid joined Robinsons in 2024, bringing more than 15 years in civil and infrastructure construction across site supervision, project management, estimating and contract administration. He holds a National Diploma in Civil Engineering and is completing a Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying).

James joined Robinsons in 2025 with more than 18 years in construction. Starting out as an LBP-qualified carpenter before moving into site supervision and project management, he manages complex civil and building projects from planning to completion.

Cameron moved into civil construction after a career in media, starting in the field before moving into estimating. He now prices and manages his own projects, combining landscaping know-how with civil skills to find the right solution for every client.
